I want to thank all of the families who came out to our Mission Trip info meeting this past Sunday. It’s not too late to sign-up, but remember, applications are due this Sunday, March 3.
Sunday School – “All In – Discovering Church Membership”:
Week Three – Our Structure: This week we discussed the structure and foundation of our church, including our Mission, Vision, and Purposes.
Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 1:10
Making It Personal: (this is the application assignment to complete on their own)
- Students were instructed to answer 3 questions under Ministry Involvement.
- Students were asked to rate our Youth Ministry according to the five purposes we discussed.
Next Sunday: All In: Discovering Church Membership – Our Strategy (Connect with God in Worship, Growth in Christ through a Growth Group, and Serve the World in Jesus’ Name)
Wednesday Youth Group:
- Miniseries: “True North – When All Seems Lost” in which we’re learning how God’s attributes and character help us through life.
- This Week’s Theme: “Storms Ahead!” The students that although difficulties in life are certain, we can trust God to guide us through them and use them to make us more like Christ.
- Scripture Memory: John 14:27
- Discussion Questions (Parents – use these to follow-up with your teen):
- What are some of the most difficult experiences you have faced personally?
- How have the storms of life drawn you closer to, or pushed you further from Christ?

Important Info:
Summer Mission Trip to Haiti, July 27 to August 3! We’ll be ministering in Haiti with Mission of Hope, where the adult team went last year. We’re still working on the final ministry details, but our ministry will revolve around work in villages, sharing Christ through kids camps, helping in orphanages, and building homes. This trip is open to 9th graders and up. Adults are welcome to join! Information packets and applicationsare available in the youth center, church office, or online at www.oneeightyone.org. Applications and $25 deposit are due to Dan Adams by Sunday, March 3.
