Why Chicago?

  • To experience a new culture and to get a sense of the need in other areas around our country.
  • There is great diversity in Chicago, but also great need! “Chicago remains one of the most segregated cities in the US. Homelessness has overwhelmed the city’s resources. AIDS, prostitution, gang violence, and drug abuse feed a perpetual cycle of decay that haunts the city.”
  • Chicago needs to experience the power of God to break the stronghold of poverty and hopelessness.
