Mission Trip: Each summer, our teens set aside an entire week dedicated to serving Christ.  This year, we’ll be looking to meet practical needs in our own community.  Our trip will begin on Sunday, July 20, and go through Saturday, July 26. The estimated cost for the trip is $300. Fundraising opportunities will be available.  The application and $25 deposit are due by Sunday, March 23.  An information packet and application are available in the Youth Center or online at www.oneeightyone.org. We welcome parents and adults to consider participating too.  Contact Pastor Dan Adams if you’re interested in find out how you can serve with us.

IN THE WORD THIS WEEK:

mark_tSunday School: This past week we examined Christ’s power over demons from Mark 5.  We closed our time with a discussion on spiritual warfare.

VictorWednesday Youth Group: This evening we took a look at how Christ’s victory over sin and death gives us power and victory for life each day.

For Follow-Up:

  1. What are some of the strategies we discussed to help us find victory over sin and temptation?
  2. How does Christ’s victory while He lived here on earth translate to power and victory for living our lives?
