One of the highlights this week has been reading through summer internship applications.  We interviewed seven candidates on Tuesday, and are in the process of following-up with potential candidates.  Please be in prayer for these summer servants.

We anticipate needing housing for 2 college girls for 11 weeks during the summer.  Please contact me if you might be able to help in this area.

All InSunday School – “All In – Discovering Church Membership”:

Week Four – Our Strategy: This week, building on the structure we discussed last week, we examined the our church discipleship strategy. This is how we accomplish our Mission, Vision, and Purposes.

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 9:22-23
Making It Personal: (this is the application assignment to complete on their own)

  • Students were challenged to examine which spiritual disciplines they need to be working on.

Next Sunday: All In: Discovering Church Membership – Summary (We will wrap up this series, and student will be given an opportunity to interview with a deacon for baptism and/or membership.)

Wednesday Youth Group:

  • This week was Gym Night. 

MY NAME IS-cover2Next Wednesday: We will being a new series entitled, “Hello My Name Is…” In this series we will learn about the Trinity and explore specifics and differences between God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

MoHApplications are in, and we’re finalizing details as we put the team together.  Plane tickets will be purchased this week! If you applied, be looking in the mail for an info letter that includes information regarding a passport, immunizations, and the training schedule.

Adults and students going into 9th grade and up invited to join us on a fantastic week canoeing and backpacking in the glacial lakes of Algonquin Provincial Reserve, Canada.
